FAQs

Everything you need to Know Before You Go

Before you read on, there are a number of things you need to do before you make your way to the show: 

  • REFRESH your tickets with the EVENTIM.app so that they are available on your cell phone regardless of the network. 
  • FORWARD the additional tickets to the rest of your group so they can download their ticket to their smartphone too 
  • AGREE in your group and meet up before the show so that you can enter the stadium together, as everyone must enter together with the main purchaser. Important: the group cannot be admitted separately! 
  • CHARGE your phones 
     
Plan Ahead

Make sure you plan your visit to Olympic Stadium Munich 
Check the weather before you go and dress accordingly. 
 
Leave plenty of time for your journey and plan ahead. The same for your return journey home. 
 
Read all the information provided and take note of what you can and can’t do.  
Large crowds are expected to attend each performance. Be aware of your surroundings and respectful to others. 

Stadium Access

The stadium will open at the following times on the following dates.

* VIP 1 It’s Been A Long Time Coming VIP 3 I Remember It All Too Well  and VIP 6 We Never Go Out of Style VIP packages include Early Entry into the venue. All other VIP package classifications do not include Early Entry and will be allowed to enter at the GA and Hospitality door times referenced above.

Tickets

All performances are sold out. 

EVENTIM.PASS

The Taylor Swift shows are digital tickets only, no paper tickets will be issued in advance. Please download your tickets in the Eventim.PASS app BEFORE you arrive at the stadium. Please make sure that your cell phone is fully charged. Under the following link you will find an explanation of how to download the app and tickets: EVENTIM.Pass - Simple, secure, fair 

The main purchaser should also bring the following documents, as we may ask for them in order to guarantee you access to the event: 

  • Your booking confirmation email (you can show this on your phone or print it out) 
  • An official photo ID (driving license or passport) issued in the name of the main booker(s) 

The ticket can be passed on or resold via FanSALE.

In addition, designated "Help Desks" will be available on site at the North and South ticket offices to clarify questions and problems regarding digital ticketing. 

Entrances

The entrances for standing tickets are as follows

North entrance - VIP 1 FOS 1 right
North entrance - VIP 3 FOS 2 right
South entrance - VIP 1 FOS 1 left
South Entrance - VIP 3 FOS 2 left
South entrance - VIP 6 General Standing/Innenraum

The entrances for seating tickets are as follows

North entrance – VIP 2, 4, 5 /Tribüne Block J-N
South Entrance – VIP 2, 4, 5 / Tribüne Block O-T
Entrance South - West – VIP 2, 4, 5 / Tribüne Block U-Z
Entrance North-West – VIP 2, 4, 5 / Tribüne Block A-D

The wheelchair entrances are as follows

North Entrance – ‘Umgriff Tribüne’
Entrance ‘Kleines Marathontor’ (Spiridon-Louis-Ring) – ‘Innenraum’

Prohibited Items

Please make sure you’re not bringing anything you shouldn’t before arriving. 
 
Everyone will be checked before entry. 

Public transport & parking

You have the option of booking a local transport ticket free of charge. You will receive an email in good time before the event. Without this additional booking, free use of public transport is not possible. To ensure that your ticket is valid, please print it out beforehand. 

Please note the following information before issuing your tickets:  

  • One ticket can be issued per event ticket. 
  • You can create and retrieve your ticket at any time before the event. 
  • The ticket is usually personalized. 
  • The personalization data of a ticket can only be changed until the ticket has been created. Once it has been created, the personalization can no longer be changed. 
  • The ticket is valid on the day of the event within the period of validity printed on it. 

To create your ticket, please proceed as follows: 

  1. please visit the page: kombiticket.eventim.de/eventimpass/login 
  2. enter your order number and your EVENTIM.Pass ID in the fields provided and click on Register. You will find both when you open your EVENTIM.Pass ticket in the EVENTIM app under Ticket information below. 
  3. select your ticket and click on "Enter usage data for ticket". 
  4. you may need to personalize your ticket by entering all the necessary information. 
  5. to complete the creation of the ticket, click on "Save usage data". Once the ticket has been created, the personalization can no longer be changed. 
  6. after the usage data has been saved, you can retrieve your ticket. 
  7. repeat the process if you want to create several tickets assigned to your order.

Parking

Please inform yourself on the Olympiapark website about the parking possibilities.

Protection of minors

Please note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted to enter the event grounds, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Young people under the age of 16 may only attend the concert if accompanied by a person with parental authority or person with parental authority at the concert. For this purpose, the parental authorization form (in accordance with Section 1 (1) No. 4 of the Youth Protection Act) must be completed in full and carried at the concert. 

In Munich, young people aged 14 and over are allowed to attend a concert alone.

Loud music can damage hearing, so please ensure that children in particular wear ear protection. 

Additional information
  • Face coverings are not permitted, with the exception of religious clothing and medical masks 
  • Please make sure that your clothing, costumes or personal items do not disturb anyone around you (obstructed view, etc.) 
Payment options

In the Olympic Stadium you can pay in cash or with all major cards (except American Express).

Weather information

We are looking forward to a concert under the best weather conditions. Please have a look at the weather forecast before coming to the arena. If its rainy, we recommend weatherproof clothing including rain capes or similar. 

Please note that umbrellas (including toddlers!) are expressly forbidden and may not be carried onto the event site.

  • Have I made an appointment with my group to enter the stadium as a group?

  • Do I know what I can and can't take to the concert and would I rather leave things at home if necessary?
  • Have I chosen my outfit or costume so that I don't disturb anyone in front of, next to or behind me?

How do I get to Olympiastadium Munich?

We recommend to get to the venue by public transport as this will be the easiest and fastest way to get to the venue and also leave the venue after the concert.

You have the option of booking a local transport ticket free of charge. You will receive an email in good time before the event. Without this additional booking, free use of public transport is not possible. To ensure that your ticket is valid, please print it out beforehand.

Can I park at the stadium?

Please inform yourself on the Olympiapark website about the parking possibilities
 

Can I drop-off / pick up at the stadium?

There are no drop off/pick up facilities near the Olympic Park. Please do not drive into the Olympic Park area to drop off or pick up people so as not to interfere with rescue, production and visitor traffic.

Can I come to the stadium before Doors?

No. Overnight camping is not allowed. Please come to the stadium for doors! 

One person in our group is running late and we would like to enter the stadium early. Can the person join us later?

This is not possible. The group with which you have decided to go to the concert must enter the stadium together. It is not possible to re-enter after leaving the stadium.

Are there any age restrictions?

Children under the age of 6 are not admitted to the event.

Children between the ages of 6 and 14 may only be admitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian. An identification document must be carried.

Where can I find a first-aid team if I'm not feeling well/ Who can I contact in an emergency?

You will find the first-aid team at the North Entrance and the South Entrance during admission.
During the event, there will be paramedics at the following locations:

  • Block D
  • Block J
  • Block S
  • Block X
  • In the interior next to the wheelchair platform
  • In each section of the interior 

You can recognize the paramedics by their red and yellow uniforms.
In an emergency, please call the police on 110 or the fire department on 112 and help will be directed to you.

Can I get help if I can't find the entrance to my standing or seating area?

Please pay attention to the signs in the Olympiapark. If you still need help, you can contact the security staff (blue vests).

I have a problem with my ticket, where do I go?

Please go to one of the ticket Help Desks at the North and South ticket offices. They will help you with your ticket questions. 

Can I bring a bag into the stadium?

Olympiastadion operates a restricted bag policy. Each person can only bring one small bag into the stadium, and it must not be bigger than: 

Height – 35 cm - Width – 30 cm - Depth – 20 cm 
 
Bags that are half-full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted.  
Anyone carrying bags that do not meet the criteria above will not be allowed into the stadium. 

Can I bring in a sign, flag or banner?

All posters or signs must be no bigger than A3 in size. Anything bigger is not permitted. 

Can I bring a powerbank into the stadium?

Mobile phones and small battery packs (powerbanks no larger than your phone) are fine to bring into the stadium. For a full list of what you can and what you can’t bring into VELTINS Arena click here.

Can I purchase food & drink at the stadium?

Yes Food & Beverages can be purchased.

No glass, hard plastic, or metal containers of any kind. You are permitted a clear, soft disposable plastic water bottle without a cap - no larger than 500 ml in capacity. This applies to those with seating tickets only. Anyone with a standing ticket will not be allowed to bring a bottle inside the stadium - cups will be provided.

Can I come to the stadium if I don’t have a ticket?

No. Anyone without a ticket should not travel to Olympia Stadion. No one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or at the front of the stadium.  Non ticket holders will be moved on. 

Will there be listening parties or viewing galleries?

No. Anyone hanging around outside the stadium will be moved on by security. 

Can I buy official tour merchandise in the stadium?

Official tour merchandise will be available at the Olympiapark and in the stadium itself.
