From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Warsteiner beer garden in front of the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA will be open, providing music, snacks, and cold drinks.
Over 65,000 visitors are expected to attend each of Ed Sheeran's concerts. We therefore ask that you plan to arrive early.
Increased traffic is expected around the arena grounds, as the Caravan Salon trade fair is taking place at Messe Düsseldorf at the same time as the Ed Sheeran concerts. A parking ticket must be booked in advance to use a parking space. This and all other useful information on arrival and departure, such as public transport tickets, alternative means of travel such as coaches, bicycles, or information on shuttle buses, can be found at event-mobility.de. The concert ticket entitles you to travel to and from the venue on the day before admission and to return by public transport throughout the VRR area (public transport in the Rhine-Ruhr region) until the end of service.
As part of Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour 2025, we want to better understand how many emissions are generated by the shows. An important part of this is how fans travel to the shows. This short anonymous survey will help us find out exactly that. Thank you for your support!
Your safety is our top priority, both for the artist and for us as the event organizer. We would therefore like to point out that there will be strict security checks at the entrances to the concert venue. We kindly ask you to read and follow the security instructions carefully.
All tickets will be scanned automatically at the entrances. As these are digital tickets only, please have your smartphone ready at the entrance. If you have any questions or problems, the security staff will be happy to help you. To avoid long waiting times and ensure smooth admission, we urge you to use the direct entrances to the respective areas. The area or block designation can be found on your ticket.

To ensure smooth exit after the concert, we ask that you follow the signs and instructions of the security staff. This may mean that you leave the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA by a different route than you entered. This is part of our routing concept and is important for your safety and that of other visitors.
Please note that re-entry is not possible once you have left the event venue.
Your ticket will only be accessible on your mobile phone/smartphone via the EVENTIM app. More information about the EVENTIM Pass can be found here.
At the venue, you must scan the tickets on your smartphone at the turnstiles to gain admission. Please note that you must arrive at the entrance together with the main purchaser of the tickets in order to enter as a group. The main purchaser should be able to show their ID card. The name printed on the ticket must match the name of the main purchaser. The organizer reserves the right to check ID cards.
Please make sure that your smartphone is sufficiently charged. It is recommended that you retrieve the tickets once before you set off for the event venue. Once the tickets have been retrieved, they are also available offline.
Tickets may only be transferred or resold via fanSALE.
In addition, help desks will be available on site to answer questions and resolve issues relating to digital ticketing. These are located at the south and northwest ticket offices.
To ensure maximum security, we work with the authorities and artist management to review all security-related procedures and have jointly developed a comprehensive security concept. The more we can count on your support and the more you comply with the guidelines, the faster and more effective the checks will be. For quick and smooth admission, we recommend that you refrain from bringing bags and backpacks and only carry your concert ticket, mobile phone, keys, and wallet with you.
Only bags and neck pouches with a maximum size of an A4 sheet (approx. 29cm x 21cm) are permitted on the event grounds. Please leave larger bags at home, as they are not allowed on the event grounds.

Paramedics and doctors are on site for medical emergencies. Please follow the German Red Cross signs on the premises or contact our security staff.

The best way to plan your arrival and departure for Ed Sheeran's concerts is via the Event-Mobility platform (www.event-mobility.de). There you will receive personalized recommendations for your arrival and departure—whether by car, public transportation, bicycle, or on foot—which you can also have sent to you by email. If you are traveling by car, you must book your parking space in advance via Event-Mobility. There is no possibility to book parking spaces on site.
The concert ticket entitles you to travel to and from the concert on the day of the concert by public transport throughout the VRR area (public transport in the Rhine-Ruhr region).
The MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA is easily accessible by public transport. The MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA / Messe Nord stop is the terminus of the U78.
Trains will run at increased intervals for arrival and departure.
In addition, the U79 runs via Freiligrathplatz. From here, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the arena.

For departure, additional shuttles to Heinrich-Heine-Allee will be available between 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.
PKW-Parkplätze müssen vorab gebucht werden. Vor Ort gibt es keine Möglichkeit, Tickets für Parkplätze zu kaufen. Da mit einem höheren Verkehrsaufkommen zu rechnen ist, wird eine rechtzeitige Buchung empfohlen.
Parktickets können auf Event Mobility erworben werden.

There are designated drop-off locations for taxis, UBER, and BOLT around the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. Please follow the signs to the drop-off location in parking lot P2. From there, it is only a few minutes' walk to the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. The exact drop-off locations can be found at event-mobility.de.
The MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA is connected to the city via a network of bike paths. There are plenty of parking spots for bikes and e-scooters right by the arena. The bike parking facilities on site are located at Lohauser Deich/Am Staad. There are more bike parking spots across from the arena.
In addition to bicycle parking facilities, specially designated parking areas for e-scooters will also be set up at these locations. Please note that geo-fencing is used to ensure that these are the last permitted parking facilities before the event site.

The walk from the city center to the arena is about 5 kilometers along the Rhine. Start in the old town at Burgplatz or Rathaus and follow the Rhine promenade northward. Walk past Rheinpark Golzheim and Nordpark, pass the Congress Center Düsseldorf, and follow Rotterdamer Straße to the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. The flat route can be completed in just under an hour.

All common payment methods are accepted at the food stands in the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA. Whether cash, EC/credit card, Mobile Pay, or similar. There is no ATM on site.
According to the Youth Protection Act, children and young people under the age of 16 may only attend events that end after 10 p.m. if accompanied by an adult supervisor.
Children and young people who are minors may be accompanied by a legal guardian. This person must meet the following criteria:

Please note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted to enter the event grounds, even if accompanied by a legal guardian or person responsible for their upbringing.

The Ed Sheeran concerts at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA are accessible to people with disabilities. Guests with a valid disability card marked aG and Bl will be allocated a parking space in P2 near the stadium upon presentation of their card.

The official admission time applies to all visitors. Early admission is unfortunately not possible. The accessible toilets are located on the promenade, near the entrances to the platforms for people with limited mobility. Please note: There is NO possibility to park walkers or similar devices on the event grounds outside the designated wheelchair spaces.
