Jo The Man The Music is the musical alter ego of a young artist from Styria, drifting between Graz and Berlin. With her debut EP “Soft Skin”, released in January 2026, she made waves as an indie singer-songwriter, earning radio airplay, selling out her first vinyl pressing and gathering over 500.000 streams.
Following an extensive European support tour for artists like Benjamin Amaru, Kate Stephenson and Laura Alden, Jo has performed at showcases including Waves Vienna and c/o pop Cologne, with further appearances at Acoustic Lakeside and Reeperbahn Festival.
Blending bedroom pop, indie rock and jangly guitars, the 25-year-old explores coming-of-age themes with remarkable lightness and mature songwriting. Inspired by artists like Phoebe Go, Big Thief and Édith Piaf, she is considered one of the most intriguing voices in Austria’s indie scene. Her “Soft Skin (only)” deluxe edition, released in September 2026, features six bonus tracks, including her latest single “To Be Sexy” and three live versions.
