Born in 1963 in Cinecittà, Rome, Ramazzotti dreamed of becoming a singer from an early age. His breakthrough came in 1984 after winning the newcomer section at Sanremo with “Terra promessa”. He returned in 1985 with “Una storia importante” and won the festival in 1986 with “Adesso tu”, cementing his national success.
During the 1990s, he achieved major international success with albums like “Tutte storie” (1993) and “Dove c’è musica” (1996). In 2003, “9” topped the Italian charts for 14 weeks and its tour drew over a million fans. He has continued releasing music and touring globally, including his most recent album “Battito infinito” (2022), maintaining his status as a leading figure in Italian and international pop music.
